About Me


Hi I am Anamaria Irmgard Mojica-Hanke :wave:,

I’m a truly believer, that everyone can contribute to a better society, I really want to contribute being a good researcher and an upstanding teacher. For this purpose, since August of 2020, I am a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Systems and Computing Engineering at Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia). Besides, I’m working at The Software Design Lab (TSDL) research group, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mario Linares-Vásquez, and I’m also teaching some courses at the university and being a teacher assistant.


Education


For my purpose I’ve had to follow an education path that begun too many years ago in a small city in Colombia. I’m going to describe my education from my bachelor’s degree until now.

In addition to my studies I have a specific research interest, data analysis and applied machine learning in software engineering. In which I’ve been working on some projects and publications related to it, with fabulous people, covering topics like fraud tax-detection, Top Android’s apps and Vulnerability detection (see more).

Experience

(Teaching and non academic experience)


Meanwhile I was on my undergraduate degree I started being a teacher assistant, followed by an internship at Banco de la República of Colombia. Then, during my master’s degree I was a researcher-consultant at CAOBA, and I also was a teaching assistant. After obtaining my master’s degree I was a full time teacher for a year at Universidad de los Andes. At the same institution I’ve been teaching courses and assisting others (see more).
